History of IRIS
Headquartered in Moscow, we have been serving the international business community since 1992. The company was created to fill the gap that exists in information, security, and corporate intelligence for foreign companies operating in the former Soviet Union (FSU) and East-Central Europe.
Originally, the firm was founded as Parvus Jerico, a U.S.-Russian joint venture between Gerard Burke, former associate director of the U.S. National Security Agency, and General (retired) Victor Budanov, who specialized in counterintelligence and counter terrorism in his 34 years with Russia's state security services.
IRIS's operations have been managed by both Victor and his son, Dmitry.
IRIS has successfully completed hundreds of investigations and security assignments for some of the world's most recognized multinational corporations, law firms, investors, insurers and non-governmental organizations.
